In 1997, Ripley Entertainment took its biggest step toward branching into more forms of family entertainment with the opening of the first Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies (2000) and Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada (2013) soon followed!
